For their 6th edition, the French Food Spirit Awards were presented on October 22, 2008 in the prestigious setting of the Palais des Affaires Etrangères to an Austrian, a Japanese, a Pole and a Frenchman.
The 2008 prizewinners were:
Culture Award: Sarah Wiener, Austrian,
Producer and star of a culinary TV series broadcast on Arte, the French-German channel,
Science Award: Hiroshi Yamamoto,
Japanese legal expert, wine buff and writer
Enterprise Award: the Pole Pascal Brodnicki, restaurant owner and creator of a French food culture dissemination company in Poland
Special Jury Award of the “Dairy Products”: Joël Robuchon
Michelin-starred chef with a worldwide reputation |
